Graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics in 1986 at the Sapienza University of Rome, she specialized in Orthodontics in 1990 at the University of Cagliari. In December 1990 she was appointed University Researcher at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, and she took up service at the Dental Clinic of the A. Gemelli University Hospital in Rome. She has been an Associate Professor since 2000, and holds the teaching of Orthognathodontics in the Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics. She also teaches Orthodontics in the Degree Course in Speech Therapy, in the Degree Course in Dental Hygiene of which he has been President since 2021, in the School of Specialization in Orthodontics, of which he is Director from 2011 to 2019, and in the School of Specialization in Oral Surgery. She directs the Masters in Orthodontics and gnathology, in courses in Italian and English. She is an active member of SIDO, of which she was Secretary from 2017 to 2021.
