Sabine Ruf is Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Giessen, Germany. She received her DDS in 1991, obtained her Dr. med. dent in 1994 and her Dr. med. dent. habil in 2001 from the same University. She published over 160 papers in national and international journals and received several awards among them the W.J.B. Houston Research Award of the EOS in 1997, the 6th S.I.D.O. World Award in 1997, the Best Paper Awards of the German Orthodontic Society 2008 and 2018 and the Beni Solow Award of the EOS in 2019. Since 2009 she is Active Member of the Angle Society of Europe.
