Elsa Arango, DDS is an associated professor of orthodontics department at UniCIEO University. She graduated and completed orthodontic training at UniCIEO University. Currently, clinical professor at UniCIEO University as well as an invited professor of orthodontics at CTOR University in New York. She published a book, Anatomy and Biomechanics applied to Skeletal Anchorages in Orthodontics and several papers and book chapters in the field of anatomy and biomechanics. She has carried out clinical and scientific research in the area of skeletal anchorages and biomechanics, and gives many lectures around the world on skeletal anchorages and anatomy and maintains a private practice in Bogota, Colombia. Dr. Arango is the designer and Academic director of the Skeletal Anchorage International Certification and for the Latin American Biomechanics courses in Bogota, Colombia. Active member of WFO, ALADO, Colombian Society of Orthodontics and currently the president of BIOMEDE.
