Dr. Choi graduated from Yonsei University College of Dentistry in 2002, earning her MSc in 2005 and PhD in 2009. After completing her orthodontic residency at Yonsei University Dental Hospital in 2006, she served as a full-time faculty member at Gangnam Severance Dental Hospital from 2008 to 2014. Currently, she is a Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Yonsei University Dental Hospital, educating undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is a member of the Korean Association of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the World Federation of Orthodontists, and serves as an Associate Editor for the Korean Journal of Orthodontics. She is presently a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University during her sabbatical leave.
