Improving Orthodontic and Interdisciplinary Treatment Efficiency and Making Data Driven Decision Through AI

The orthodontic discipline had, in recent years, a rapid evolution linked to digitalization that has allowed not only to make the doctor’s workflow and the patient journey more efficient but also to improve and increase the reliability of laboratory production processes and procedures clinics. In this context also the development of artificial intelligence at the service of dentistry and orthodontics, which has seen a strong acceleration with the growing need for remote monitoring during the covid-19, is helping to make orthodontic treatment more efficient for the doctor and more compatible with an active lifestyle for the patient. The concept of efficiency, facilitated emergency management and the increase in predictability of clinical sessions, is being complemented by management control. Through a decision-making process, based on data extrapolated with artificial intelligence, it is in fact possible to improve the clinical management and business one as well. This is happening regarding of our orthodontic treatments and, ultimately, of our practice. It’s for these reasons that our profession can find in artificial intelligence a reliable and concrete ally.
